This week at LCOS we begin a nine week series entitled, Law and Gospel.  We will be looking at the book of Galatians. This first week will focus on the Revelation of God from Galatians chapter 1. Confusion was setting into the churches in Galatia. Do we have to do something along with the grace of God to be forgiven? Does our works of the law and God's grace revealed in the Gospel cooperate to bring God's forgiveness? Do we have to do something for our salvation? How does the Law relate to the Gospel? Paul's letter addresses the proper place of the Law and the importance of not confusing it with the pure gift of God revealed in the Gospel. Join us as we discover, or rediscover, the distinction between Law and Gospel and what it means for our life and salvation.
